Billie is a sole survivor of a serial killer Midwest Butcher. Brett is a rising football star and is in the spotlight after joining team The kings football. They both meet at a very meet cute setting in a TV show where they were both scheduled for an interview.

𝕄𝕪 𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙𝕥𝕤 :-
I will be honest the title of this book totally hooked me in and I have liked some of the books by this author so I read it on KU.
The start and the premise was very intriguing. I loved the found family trope and the mystery suspense of the story. I liked how quirky Billie is and Brett's morally grey character I obviously adored.

Almost 70% of the book had me intrigued with the suspense of the serial killer but that reveal was so disappointing for me not because I guessed the mystery but because it made no sense and it only made me think about all the glaring plot holes!!
There were some quirky aspects of the story that I really liked but for me the ending didn't work.
