๐ธ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐ :- This duology is a dark romance. Zade is obsessed with Adeline from the very first time he sees her. He then stalks her and breaks into her house. Adeline is a famous author who seems to attract all the bad guys including the anti hero Zade who ironically is a saviour of others while he stalks the fmc. There is a mysterious subplot that runs alongside the current timeline which is very intriguing.

Sometimes there comes a book that would make you question the sanity of its reader, this is that sort of book. I know there is a huge fan base for this duology but I just cannot understand the appeal and it's not because of the genre I've read plenty of dark romances but I don't enjoy reading something this graphic.
The first book is better, don't get me wrong it has its questionable moments but compared to the second its setting is more entertaining. It has gothic horror with a paranormal mystery theme which I liked about this book.
The second book is just traumatizing to read. It's safe to say I am now scarred for life after reading graphic violence. If I had read the TW before starting this series I would not have read it.
โ ๏ธ I highly recommend reading the TW before starting this duology.โ ๏ธ
PS:- I was not planning to write a review about this duology because I generally don't write a negative review but I felt there should be a different review considering its theme.
